These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all services, courses (both digital and in-person), events, assessments, subscriptions, digital resources, and the website operated by the London Centre for Compliance and Legal Studies (“LCCLS”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2.1. Registration must be completed through our official website or an authorised partner. Confirmation of registration is subject to course availability.
2.2. Upon registration and successful payment, you will receive course access credentials. You are responsible for providing accurate personal information and maintaining confidentiality.
2.3. Course access is non-transferable. Sharing your account or course materials with others is strictly prohibited.
2.4. Access to online materials requires a stable internet connection and compatible device; you are responsible for ensuring your access environment is sufficient.
- Fees, Payments and Refund Policy
3.1. All fees must be paid upfront unless otherwise agreed in writing. Instalment plans, where available, will include specific terms.
3.2. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit/credit cards, and secure online gateways.
3.3. You acknowledge and agree that access to digital content is immediate and therefore non-refundable under consumer protection laws. By opting for immediate access, you waive your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
3.4. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or failure to complete a course. In limited cases (e.g., certified medical emergency), deferrals may be offered at LCCLS’s discretion.
3.5. Promotional codes and discounts must be applied at the time of purchase. We do not offer retrospective price adjustments.
- Free Courses and Resources
4.1. Free offerings are provided “as is” and without warranty or support.
4.2. Access to free content does not entitle users to any paid service benefits, support, or certification.
4.3. LCCLS may modify, limit, or withdraw free offerings without notice.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
5.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
5.2. Any legal dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- Digital Content and Access Rights
6.1. Digital course materials are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, or modify any content.
6.2. LCCLS reserves the right to revoke access for violations of these Terms or misuse.
6.3. Course access may be limited to specific durations based on course type.
6.4. While we aim to maintain uninterrupted access, we reserve the right to carry out maintenance and updates.
- Assessments and Certification
7.1. Some courses include assessments, assignments, or quizzes.
7.2. Certificates are issued digitally to those who meet all course requirements.
7.3. Reassessment opportunities are limited and may incur additional charges.
7.4. Certificates may be withheld in cases of dishonesty, plagiarism, or misconduct.
- Code of Conduct
8.1. All users must behave in a respectful, inclusive, and professional manner when interacting with peers, staff, or online communities.
8.2. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal without refund.
8.3. LCCLS reserves the right to suspend or permanently expel users who violate these standards.
- Intellectual Property
9.1. All course content, logos, design elements, and branding are the intellectual property of LCCLS or licensed third parties.
9.2. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any material without permission is strictly prohibited.
- Website Use and Account Security
10.1. You agree not to use the website for illegal or harmful purposes, including the distribution of malware or hacking attempts.
10.2. It is your responsibility to maintain account security and report suspicious activity immediately.
10.3. LCCLS may lock or delete compromised accounts at its discretion.
10.4. Continued access to our website or services constitutes acceptance of any future changes to these Terms.
- Purpose and Examination Conduct
The primary objective of LCCLS courses is to deliver professional and academic learning for educational development. Therefore, we do not require proctored examinations unless explicitly stated.
By enrolling, you agree to:
- Submit only truthful, accurate personal and identification information
- Adhere to academic integrity and ethical standards
- Complete assessments independently, without outside assistance
Misconduct may result in disciplinary action, disqualification, and revocation of certification.
- Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
12.1. LCCLS strives to provide accurate and high-quality content but does not guarantee error-free materials.
12.2. We are not liable for internet issues, third-party software disruptions, or service downtime.
12.3. Our total liability is capped at the value of the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the incident.
12.4. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
- Force Majeure
13.1. We are not liable for delays or service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, public health emergencies, or IT failures.
- Amendments to Terms
14.1. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time.
14.2. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
- Marketing Communications and Consent
15.1. By registering with LCCLS, you agree to receive emails and notifications related to your courses, account, and administrative updates.
